A new progressive rock music festivalhas been announced for the North-West UK. The Electric Garden festival will run over 2 days in May 2011. The ambitious plans have already been implemented with major prog headliners The Tangent and The Watch already booked.
The Tangent had one of the most succesful prog albums of 2009 with their 'Down and Out in Paris and London' topping many of the major progressive rock polls. They have been described as the most exciting prog band in over a decade by progarchives.com.
Similarly Italian band The Watch are receiving rave reviews around the world not least for the fact that their own material is so strong. They are known as amongst the best (if not THE best) the best band to interpret early Genesis classics. For Electric Garden they will be performing the complete 'Selling England By The Pound' album along with their own material.
Also confirmed to play are Nerve Toy Trio, Godsticks, Abel Ganz, IT, Dropshard, SeYes and Earthling Society.
Tickets are priced very modestly and include several free gift incentives. The event is being professionally filmed and all 2-Day pass tickets come complete with free CD/DVD of the post event commercial package.
